CASP7 released the first model on May 10th and will run for a couple months with additional sequences being released during the two month period. Each sequence will have a prediction window of three weeks based on publication deadlines of the solved PDB structure for each sequence. The strategy for this CASP competition is to identify what Pfam family the sequence belongs and using the Mutual Information model for that family to score a collection of PDB solutions submitted by the automated server portion of the competition. If the sequence is not a member of a known Pfam or the number of sequences in the family are small it will not be possible to submit an entry for that target.
